My son — part-owner, a proud member of the Cook County Sheriff’s Office for more than 23 years, and an Officer with the American Knights Motorcycle Club — embodies resilience, service, and strength. He has always lived a life driven by purpose, brotherhood, and a commitment to helping others.

In 2013, a devastating automobile accident changed everything. He suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him unable to walk, talk, or recognize anyone — including himself. What followed were three years of intensive physical and occupational therapy, unwavering determination, and faith. Throughout that long road to recovery, his brothers and sisters on the force and the American Knights M/C stood beside him, supporting him every step of the way.

Today, he is back serving his community and helping others — stronger, wiser, and more purpose-driven than ever. His journey is a powerful reminder of the resilience, courage, and brotherhood that define those who serve.

It is also the inspiration behind Hero Forge Apparel — a brand built to honor our heroes, support those who stand the line, and share the stories of courage, sacrifice, and comeback that deserve to be remembered.
