Hero Forge Apparel & Coffee was founded on a deep respect for the men, women, and K-9 partners who serve their communities and country every day.

For our family, service is not a slogan—it's part of our history.

Founder Angela Dellutri grew up hearing stories of sacrifice, courage, and duty from her father, Angelo Dellutri, a World War II veteran of the 745th Tank Battalion who landed on Omaha Beach during the D-Day invasion and earned the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat.

After the war, he remained active in the 745th Tank Battalion Association, serving as an officer and helping preserve the legacy of his fellow veterans. Angela often assisted him with meetings, reunions, and veteran activities, gaining a lifelong appreciation for those who serve.

 

That legacy continued with Angela's son and Hero Forge Apparel & Coffee co-owner, Christopher Dellutri. For more than two decades, Christopher has served with the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

In 2013, a devastating automobile accident left him with a traumatic brain injury and a long road to recovery. 

Through determination, faith, family support, and the unwavering encouragement of his brothers and sisters in law enforcement and the riding community, Christopher fought his way back. Today, he continues to serve as a correctional officer and remains an officer with the American Knights Motorcycle Club.

His journey serves as a powerful reminder that strength is not measured by the challenges we face, but by our willingness to rise after being knocked down.

This cause is especially meaningful to us, as my father knew Gary Sinise’s father through the motion picture industry, creating a connection that feels both personal and fitting.
